Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Greg Kurstin (record producer) have decided that they will be releasing eight cover songs, one for each day of Hanukkah. Each cover will be exclusively by an artist of Jewish descent, and for the fourth night, they’ve decided to present a highly entertaining cover of “Fuck The Pain Away” by Peaches. The description for the video reads as follows:

“Drake’s not the only musical Jew from Canada…tonight we feature a Canadian rock G-Dess…who coincidentally grew up around the corner from a Canadian Jewish rock G-D (G-ddy Lee). Straight out the mikvah, here’s Peaches!”

Foo Fighters are currently gearing up to release their tenth studio album, Medicine At Midnight, on February 5th, with Kurstin acting as producer. You can click here to pre-order the new album, and you can click here to hear the band’s first single, “Shame, Shame”, which premiered on Saturday Night Live in November. You can stream the fourth video from “The Hanukkah Sessions” below.
