Rare Paul McCartney Documentary To Premiere In Theaters This September

Beginning on September 26th, a rare documentary entitled Paul McCartney and Wings: One Hand Clapping will premiere in theaters for the first time ever. Limited screenings will be taking place beginning on September 26th, so check your local listings to see where the film is playing near you.

The film provides viewers with an intimate look at the 1914 Abbey Road Recording Sessions, which will feature previously unreleased in full footage of solo acoustic performances by McCartney dubbed “The Backyard Sessions”. The presentation will also feature rare unseen polaroids documenting during these sessions, along with an exclusive introduction filmed by McCartney himself.

In a press release announcing the film, Paul McCartney stated the following:

"It’s so great to look back on that period and see the little live show we did. We made a pretty good noise actually! It was a great time for the band, we started to have success with Wings, which had been a long time coming.”
