Applied Communications Release New Single "Tomboy Femme"

Alt-pop act Applied Communications - the brainchild of musician Max Wood - has released a new single from their forthcoming EP, titled “Tomboy Femme”. The new EP, Applied Communications Has A Midlife Crisis - is set to be released on April 26th, 2024.

In a press release announcing the single, Wood stated the following:

"A song I’ve been working on off and on for the last 17 years. It focuses on the journey I’ve taken in reckoning with my identity. It’s built on a wide array of samples and musical references to pop songs that have meant a lot to me on that journey. Lyrically, it weaves in and out of reality and fiction, mirroring my sense of self.

You can check out the single in its entirety below. The EP was mixed by Scoobert Doobert and mastered by Riley Knapp.
