Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Greg Kurstin (record producer) have decided that they will be releasing eight cover songs, one for each day of Hanukkah. Each cover will be exclusively by an artist of Jewish descent, and for the sixth night, they’ve decided to present a cover of Elastica’s “Connection”. The video description reads as follows:

“From Brit Milot to Britpop…here’s one of the coolest tracks from the 90’s….sung by the very cool…and Jewish…Justine Frischmann…ELASTICA!”

Foo Fighters are currently gearing up to release their tenth studio album, Medicine At Midnight, on February 5th, with Kurstin acting as producer. You can click here to pre-order the new album, and you can click here to hear the band’s first single, “Shame, Shame”, which premiered on Saturday Night Live in November.
