Stevi Daft Premieres New Single and Music Video "Vertigo"

Independent rock artist Stevi Daft has premiered a brand new single titled “Vertigo”. The track, along with the accompanying music video, is the next standalone single on her journey to stardom. In a press release announcing the new song, Daft stated the following surrounding the meaning behind “Vertigo”:

”I am a tarot card reader, and witchcraft is a big part of my life. I also have vertigo, which can be so debilitating, and I had a particularly bad episode the day I wrote this. I had tried so many things to keep it at bay and get rid of it, but I hadn’t tried a spell. Which seems so obvious now!

I happened to be doing a course on creativity and sexuality at the time, and the combination of these inspired me to take my first stab at incorporating spellwork into my songwriting. If I’m going to be saying these words the rest of my life, what do I want to say? What is that important to me? This song is a manifestation of the banishment of my vertigo, and in the video I am actually doing a banishment spell. It went on for a while longer than the footage you see, but doing the ritual in its entirety that day was very meaningful. I hope that once the video is out, the spell will be complete and the vertigo will finally be released.”
