Writer Joshua Mohr Announces Book Trilogy, Record Deal, Releases New Single "Size Queens"

Rock ‘n’ roll novelist Joshua Mohr has announced that he has landed a three-book deal alongside a vinyl record deal from Los Angeles publishers Unnamed Press and book/music label Rare Bird.

Mohr’s first book in the upcoming trilogy is titled Saint the Terrifying, and is set to be released on October 22nd, 2024. The book follows the character of Saint, an East Bay punk musician with Viking roots. Saint’s band is called Slummy, and Mohr has taken the idea of a concept record a step further by recording a full EP in character as Slummy. The EP, titled The Wrong Side, will also be released on October 22nd, and was recorded at Grandma’s Warehouse in Los Angeles with local band Movie Club.
