Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Adds Cat Powers, Jessica Pratt, More to 2024 Lineup

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has unveiled even more artists for their 2024 lineup, which is set to take place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from October 4th to 6th, 2024. In its 24th year, the free music festival will feature over 70 artists performing on six stages.

The festival has added Cat Powers (singing Dylan ‘66), Cunningham Bird, Mavis Staples, Combo Tezeta, Wonder Women of Country, Steve Earle, Matt the Electrician, John Cooper Clarke, Carlene Carter, Jessica Pratt, and Wreckless Strangers.

The previous wave of lineup announces have included AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Sleater Kinney, Emmylou Harris, Sean McConnell, Levitation Room, Ibibio Sound Machine, Jobi Riccio, Dakhabrakha, Tony Trischka’s Earl Jam, Devendra Banhart, Greensky Bluegrass, Robyn Hitchcock, Big Star’s Radio City 50th Anniversary, The Wood Brothers, Fruition, Bobby Rush, Haley Heynderickx, The Bones of J.R. Jones, Alice Gerrard, and Glen Hansard. More artists are set to be announced.

Additionally, there will be several “Out of the Park” concerts taking place at night post-festival. You can view the full artist lineup and find tickets for these after-dark shows below.
