Atomis Release New Music Video for "Maelstrom", Announce Box Set

Avant-garde post-metal act Atomis has announced that they will be releasing a comprehensive “The Void Box Set” next week, containing all of the material they’ve ever written. The box set release is a tribute to the band’s late drummer, Nathan Navetto. In celebration of the release, the band has unveiled a music video for the single “Maelstrom”, which comes from the band’s first album.

In a press release announcing the music video, the band stated the following:

“Recorded 10 years earlier, it makes sense to finish off the album with something familiar, taking the listener back to the beginning, creating a nice loop, and ending the album with a bang. This 9+ minute track has been called an album on its own and was previously the band's only musical release for the last 14 years. It finally has an album to properly close out, as it was always intended.”

You can view the video for “Maelstrom” can be viewed in its entirety below, and you can click here to pre-order the box set ahead of its August 30th, 2024 release.
