The Amity Affliction Announce Redux Version of 'Let The Ocean Take Me'

Australian metalcore act The Amity Affliction has announced that they will be releasing a re-recorded version of their iconic album Let The Ocean Take Me, in honor of the album’s tenth anniversary. Let The Ocean Take Me (Redux) will be released on September 27th, 2024 via Pure Noise Records. You can click here to pre-order the album.

Ahead of the album’s release, the band has unveiled the first re-recorded selection, “My Father’s Son”.

In a press release announcing the album, vocalist Joel Birch stated the following:

"We wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today without this album and the way it resonated with people around the world. This is the foundation of our band, and we owe everything we have to all of the people who listened to it and came out to our shows and continues to this day to show their love to us. This is the greatest blessing — thank you."
