Metallica Announce Return of "Helping Hands" Benefit Concert

Metallica has announced that they will be hosting their fourth “Helping Hands” benefit concert in Los Angeles, CA this year, taking place at the YouTube Theater on December 13th, 2024. The concert will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The last Helping Hands show took place in December 2022, raising around $3 million. 100% of the proceeds went directly to Metallica’s “All Within My Hands Foundation, which supported workforce education, the fight against hunger, disaster relief, and other critical local services.

Established in 2017 as a way to give back to communities that have supported Metallica over the years, All Within My Hands has raised over $15 million – providing $8.2 million in grants to career and technical education programs including the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its sixth year, over $3.6 million to combat food insecurity, more than $3.5 million to disaster relief efforts.
