Vampire Weekend Announce New Album 'Only God Was Above Us', 2024 Tour Dates
Vampire Weekend has announced that they will be releasing a brand new album titled Only God Was Above Us on April 5th via Columbia Records. In anticipation of the album’s release, the band has unveiled two new tracks and music videos, “Capricorn” and “Gen-X Cops”. You can view both videos below.
Additionally, the band has announced that they will be heading out on an extensive North American tour this year, with dates set to kick on April 8th in Austin, TX. The tour will conclude on October 17th in Austin, TX. Two Bay Area dates are planned for Berkeley, CA at the U.C. Berkeley Greek Theatre, one of which will be a matinee show.
Support will be provided on select dates by La Lom, The English Beat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mike Gordon, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ra Ra Riot, Princess, Cults, Mark Ronson (DJ Set), The Brothers Macklovitch, and Turnstiles. Support varies by date.
