The Early November Announces New Self-Titled Album, Announces U.S. Tour Dates
The Early November has announced that they will be releasing a brand new self-titled album on June 14th via Pure Noise Records. To commemorate the announcement, the band has unveiled the first single and music video from the album, titled “What We Earn”. You can view it below.
In a press release announcing the album and new music, vocalist Ace Enders stated the following:
“’What We Earn’ was the first song written for the album, and probably the most intense as well. It’s about the realization that the glass ceiling over our heads is supported by the walls we build throughout our lives.”
He continued:
“The initial spark of this record was frustration. Although we are growing in many ways and it’s a beautiful thing to be able to do what we do, it was born out of feeling like you’re doing the same thing over and over again, and out of this ‘I don’t care’ mentality. Not ‘I don’t care about the world’, but really digging deep artistically and having the view that if this is it, then I want The Early November to finally have the album that’s good enough to be the self-titled album.”
Additionally, the band announced that they will be heading out on tour this summer with support from Spitalfield, Hellogoodbye, Hit The Lights, and Cliffdiver, with dates set to kick off on June 22nd in New York, NY. The tour will wrap up on July 19th in Boston, MA. A Bay Area date is planned for July 5th at The Independent in San Francisco, CA. Check your local listings, as all lineups vary by date.
Tickets for all dates are on sale this Friday, March 15th at 10 AM local time. You can view the full tour routing below, along with the music video for “What We Earn”, the self-titled album artwork and track listing.
