Mugshot Announces Signing To Pure Noise Records, Release New Single

California-based metalcore act Mugshot has announced that they have signed with Pure Noise Records. The band has also released a brand new single, titled “Left In The Wake”.

In a press release announcing the signing, the band stated the following:

"We are extremely excited to be signing with Pure Noise Records. They have released some of our favorite records of all time and to be working with their incredible team is an honor. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together."

The band also commented on the release of “Left In The Wake”:

"Our new song "Left In The Wake" deals with the fear of your life having no purpose or worth. The lyrics dive into a story of being faced with death alongside the realization that nothing you've done has left an impact on anyone or anything, and because your life has not left a mark neither will your death. As humans, everyone struggles with wanting to be remembered for something of great significance: to leave a legacy behind — but we are confronted daily by our actions, anxieties, and fears along the journey toward that desired legacy. That’s what ‘Left in the Wake’ embodies."

The band is currently on the road supporting MyChildren MyBride, with the band slated to take the stage tonight at Goldfield in Roseville, CA, and tomorrow night at the X-Bar in Cupertino, CA (tickets here). You can check out the video for “Left In The Wake” below.
