Weezer Announce Berkeley Show on 'Indie Rock Roadtrip!' Tour
Weezer has announced that they will be hitting the road this summer for what they’re dubbing the "‘Indie Rock Roadtrip’ tour, which will feature support on select dates from acts like Modest Mouse, Future Islands, Spoon, Momma, Joyce Manor, and White Reaper. The band will be touring in support of last year’s SZNZ, the collection of 4 EPs each themed around the various seasons of the year.
The tour will kick off on June 4th in Huntsville, AL and will wrap up on September 3rd in San Diego, CA. A Bay Area stop at Berkeley’s Greek Theater will take place on August 24th. Tickets are set to go on sale tomorrow, March 3rd at 10 AM local venue time.
