Story of the Year Release New Song and Music Video, "2005"
Story of the Year has released a new song titled, “2005”, along with an accompanying music video comprised of footage from throughout the band’s early touring years. The track comes from the band’s forthcoming new album, Tear Me To Pieces, which is slated to be released on March 10th via SharpTone Records.
In a press release announcing the new song, vocalist Dan Marsala stated the following:
“It’s a story about youth and falling in love with music. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come as a band and how lucky I am to still be playing music with my best friends. This song makes me excited for the future of SOTY.”
It was recently announced that the band will be joining Yellowcard on their 20th anniversary “Ocean Avenue” tour later this summer, which will also feature support from acts like Mayday Parade, Anberlin, This Wild Life, and Emo Night Brooklyn.
