Aug 26 L.S Dunes Reveals Lineup, Premieres Debut Single, Announces Debut Album

After weeks of anticipation, the members of L.S. Dunes have been revealed, and the band have unveiled their debut single, “Permanent Rebellion.” The band is comprised of guitarist Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), vocalist Anthony Green (Circa Survive), guitarist Travis Stever (Coheed & Cambria), bassist Tim Payne and drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday).

The new band have also announced that they will be releasing their debut album, Past Lives, on November 11th, 2022 via Fantasy Records. The album was produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Quicksand), recorded at Studio 4 Recording in Philadelphia, PA.

In a press release announcing the new project, Frank Iero stated the following:

After the shock of the pandemic shutdown, the close friends and mutual admirers urgently realized that "tomorrow" is not promised. "We never knew if we would ever get to play these songs together; in fact none of us lifelong musicians really knew if we'd ever be able to play music for a live audience ever again. ‘'Permanent Rebellion' is about taking back what is rightfully yours."

Drummer Tucker Rule continues:

"We wanted to do something where you can hear all our bands in it and yet, not have it sound like any one in particular. Our roots are punk rock and hardcore, and the vibe is hope for all the lost souls."

The band will have their debut performances at this year’s Riot Fest in Chicago on September 16th and Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on October 8th. The band will kick off a brief run of tour dates on November 12th, which will include a Bay Area date at Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco on November 13th.
