In Flames Release New Song "The Great Deceiver"
Swedish metal outfit In Flames have unveiled a brand new track and lyric video titled “The Great Deceiver”. The track’s releases comes shortly after the band performance at the German edition of Slipknot’s “Knotfest”.
In a press release announcing the new track, the band stated the following:
"'The Great Deceiver' was born out of frustration — basically a reaction to false flags. But since then, it has grown to represent several meanings. There’s a line that says 'Bend the truth to fit your opinion,' and we feel that speaks a lot to the narrative happening online, between people, and nations, etc., today. We are more apart now than ever before yet it's easier to communicate than in any other time in history."
The band are currently gearing up for a series of tour dates this fall with acts like Fit For An Autopsy, Orbit Culture, and Vended, as well as a run of dates with Meshuggah that will find the band taking the stage at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre on October 4th.
