Jul 14 Have Mercy Announce New EP, Release New Song "I'm Gonna Be OK"

Baltimore rock act Have Mercy have announced their return with a brand new self-titled EP, which is set to be released on August 26th via ZODHIAC Records.

A statement on the band’s Instagram page read as follows:

”We’re very happy to announce that Have Mercy EP will be out August 26 on all streaming platforms.

“I’m Gonna Be Ok” is streaming NOW at @brooklynvegan

At the start of the pandemic, we were unable to finish our farewell tour. Which, looking back, was probably for the best. I (Brian) needed to get clean. After multiple hospital visits and struggles to live a day without drugs/alcohol, I’m happy to announce that I’m two years sober. After some time apart, Andrew, Nick, Todd and myself decided to write music again. We have a brotherhood that we can’t deny. It felt right. We went into the studio to do one song and after all was said and done, it turned into seven. Seven different songs that we poured a lot of time and love into.

We don’t know where the future will take us, but we’re happy to give you this EP.

We have partnered with @zodhiacrecords and @the_orchard_ to do something completely different yet familiar. This is an EP specifically for the fans.

Mixed by us and recorded in our homes. Drums recorded with @justin.newnoise and drums on “Strawberry Hill” with @tmhrecordings . Mastered by and spiritually guided by @adam_cichocki
