Kirk Hammett (Metallica) Releases First Single "High Plains Drifter" From Upcoming Solo EP

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has unveiled the first single from his upcoming solo EP, Portals, which is set to be released everyone on April 23rd, 2022. The instrumental track is called “High Plains Drifter”, and features Hammett weaving his way throughout classical and distorted guitar licks with string quartet and piano arrangements interspersed throughout.
