Ed Sheeran Announces New Album, "=", Releases New Song "Visiting Hours"

Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be releasing a brand new album, ‘=’, which it set to be released on October 29th via Asylum/Atlantic. In addition to the album announcement, Sheeran premiered a brand new song, titled “Visiting Hours”, along with a performance video of the new track.

Via press release, Sheeran stated the following about the upcoming fourteen-track album:

“‘=’ (Equals) is a really personal record and one that means a lot to me. My life changed greatly over the past few years – I got married, became a father, experienced loss, and I reflect on these topics over the course of the album. I see it as my coming-of-age record, and I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.”

Earlier this year, Ed Sheeran released the song and music video for “Bad Habits”, which will be the fourth track on the upcoming album.
