The Lonely Ones Release Music Video for "Gettin' High"
Hard rock act The Lonely Ones have recently unveiled a brand new music video for their song “Gettin High”. The standalone single is the next in a series of new tracks the band have been releasing since the beginning of 2021, with “Dyin All Night Long” being released in June, and “Change The Station” in February.
In a press release from the band’s team, vocalist/guitarist Marty McCoy stated the following about the significance of the song:
"We’ve seen the opioid crisis ravage the world and unfortunately every single person in America has been touched by it in some way. Either with our own struggles or people very close to us. It’s a national emergency and the lyrics describe one of many experiences I’ve had with this drug taking away people I cared very deeply about.”
The band will also be on the road throughout the rest of the year, with a tour kicking off on August 19th in Indianapolis, IN, and wrapping up on October 16th in Winchester, VA. You can view the music video for “Gettin High” below.
