Foo Fighters Side Project "Dee Gees" Release New Song and Music Video, "You Should Be Dancing"
With Record Store Day right around the corner (this Saturday, July 17th), numerous artists are gearing up to present special releases on vinyl, CD, and even cassette to the masses of fans that will be flocking to record stores around the country. Foo Fighters have announced that they will not only be releasing a new album, it’s going to be an exclusively disco-themed Bee Gees cover album.
But the band will not be going by the name Foo Fighters for this release; instead, they will morph into the Dee Gees. The cover album, Hail Satin, will be available exclusively to Record Store Day patrons on vinyl. One side will feature the cover tracks, while the B-side will feature a helping of live versions of tracks from the Foo Fighters’ most recent studio album, Medicine at Midnight.
In honor of the upcoming release, the band have premiered a live music video for their cover of “You Should Be Dancing”. It’s a lot of fun, and you can watch it in its entirety below. We’ve also included the track listing of Hail Satin for you to check out.
