Dec 7 Cobra Starship Release Final Song and Music Video, "Party With You"

Cobra Starship, the brainchild of musician Gabe Saporta, has unveiled what they have dubbed their final song, “Party With You”. The band broke up back in 2015, but they’ve been in the headlines recently since resurfacing on social media. All the build-up led to the release of two Cobra Starship songs “from the vault” that never made the cut on their album Hot Mess back in 2009. These songs, put together in a release package dubbed “Tracks To the Future”, were released as a way to lead into a retrospective period for both the band and fans, looking back on their history, acting as somewhat of an official “goodbye”, rather than an abrupt break-up.

On Monday, the band released what they dubbed as the final Cobra Starship song, entitled “Party With You”. As mentioned above, the track is a cut from the Hot Mess album that never made it onto the official track listing, along with what Saporta described as “one of the most absurd videos we’ve ever made.”
