The Wonder Years Announce "The Upsides" and "Suburbia" Tour

The Wonder Years have announced that they will be hitting the road early next year for an extensive North American tour. This time, the band will be playing two of their most celebrated albums The Upsides and Suburbia I’ve Given You All And Now I’m Nothing, from front to back, on each date of the tour. Each show will feature support from Spanish Love Songs, Origami Angel, and Save Face.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am local venue time, and the tour is set to kick off on February 5th in Portland, OR. The tour will wrap up on March 25th in Philadelphia, PA. Northern California will get two shows, with a February 8th stop at Sacramento’s Ace of Spades, and a February 9th stop at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom.

You can read a statement from the band below, and you can view the full tour routing below.

It’s finally happening. In February and March, we’ll be touring the US and Ontario, playing The Upsides and Suburbia in full, every night. That’s BOTH records every single night and we’ll be bringing an amazing slate of bands with us— Spanish Love Songs, Origami Angel and save face. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am local time. We cannot wait to celebrate these albums with you after such a long and difficult wait. All shows and tickets at thewonderyearsband.com

Here are some things we think you might want to know:

• Every show on the tour will require proof of full vaccination against covid-19 or a negative PCR within 48 hours. Some shows may ONLY accept proof of vaccination and we encourage you to check with your local venue.

• Most venues will also require masking but whether or not its required by them, it is strongly encouraged by the tour and absolutely required in the merch area.

• We’ve asked each venue to share with us their accessibility information. All of that information has been compiled and sent to our friends at Half/Access and will be available for you, on their website, before tickets go on sale.

• Every venue has guaranteed us that gender neutral bathrooms will be made available.

• The light show for the tour is not yet coded but when it’s written, it will be previewed and rated by L.E.A.D. DIY and appropriate warnings will be posted at merch.
