Over the past two weeks, UK pop-punk quintet Neck Deep have announced a number of exciting things regarding the future of the band. For starters, Neck Deep will be releasing their fourth studio album, All Distortions Are Intentional, on July 24th via Hopeless Records. According to the official press release, All Distortions Are Intentional appears to be a concept album, telling “the story of a loner named Jett, who lives in a place dubbed Sonderland, a combination of “Wonderland” and the somewhat obscure word “sonder”: the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, with their own ambitions and worries.”

This is a bit more of an ambition release from Neck Deep than we’ve seen in the past, and it’s a highly admirable step in their career. When one thinks of concept albums, they automatically go to Pink Floyd’s The Wall, The Who’s Tommy, Green Day’s American Idiot and My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade, to name a few. The band are giving fans a taste of what “Sonderland” is going to look and sound like with the release of their first single and music video for All Distortions Are Intentional, “Lowlife”.

To top things off, the band have announced that they’ll be hitting the road for an extensive North American headlining run, bringing with them a larger production than they’ve ever had before. This run is sure to be one to remember. The tour is set to kick off on November 6th in Nashville, TN, and will wrap up on December 12 in New York, NY. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 13th, and you can find out more information regarding pre-sale tickets and show information by clicking here.
