Megadeth & Lamb of God Announce Massive North American Co-Headlining Tour
The tour announcements just keep getting bigger and better, and boy do we have one for you today. Dubbed “The Metal Tour of The Year” across all advertisements, Megadeth and Lamb of God have announced that they’ll be hitting the road for a massive co-headlining North American tour. They’ll be bringing Trivium and In Flames along with them on each date, and it is guaranteed to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, metal show of the year. A Bay Area date is scheduled for August 1st at Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA.
The tour is slated to kick off on June 12th in Bristow, VA, before wrapping up on November 13th In Reno, NV. Tickets for all dates go on sale this Friday, February 14th (Valentine’s Day!) at 10 AM local venue time. Citi cardmembers will have the chance to purchase presale tickets and VIP packages for a limited time beginning on Tuesday, February 11th at 10 AM local venue time, until Thursday, February 13th at 10 PM.
Megadeth will be doing their first North American tour since 2017, two years after vocalist/founder Dave Mustaine announced his cancer diagnosis (Mustaine has since been declared cancer-free.) Lamb of God recently unveiled a brand new song, “Checkmate”, from their upcoming self-titled studio album (their eighth overall).
