Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and Greg Kurstin (record producer) have decided that they will be releasing eight cover songs, one for each day of Hanukkah. Each cover will be exclusively by an artist of Jewish descent, and for the fourth night, they’ve decided to present a harmonica-and-piano-driven cover of Bob Dylan’s “Rainy Day Women #12 and 35”. The video description reads as follows:

“So now everybody must get stoned (not in the Law of Moses sense) as we put some blood on this track: Rainy Day Women 12&35 by the immortal Bob Dylan!”

Foo Fighters are currently gearing up to release their tenth studio album, Medicine At Midnight, on February 5th, with Kurstin acting as producer. You can click here to pre-order the new album, and you can click here to hear the band’s first single, “Shame, Shame”, which premiered on Saturday Night Live in November.
