Taylor Swift has released her ninth studio album, evermore. When the album dropped at midnight, Swift also released a brand new music video for the album’s first track, entitled ‘willow’.

The video acts as a continuation of the music video for the track ‘cardigan’, which was featured as the first single on folklore. It was directed by Swift, and it stars both her and Taeok Lee.

This surprise album comes just months after Swift dropped a different surprise album, her indie-acoustic-inspired eighth record entitled folklore. Since its release back in July, it went on to sell over one million copies in the United States (certifying it platinum), and has been nominated for five Grammy Awards (including Album of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album).

You can click here to pre-order the physical edition of evermore, and you can view the ‘willow’ music video and a message from Taylor Swift about the release of her ninth album below.
