Aftershock Festival Announces 2021 Lineup

After the year we’ve all had, 2021 can’t come soon enough. No, COVID-19 will not be completely gone by the time the clock strikes midnight on January 1st, but many are hoping that we’ll be seeing some kind of a cure or vaccine in the second half of next year. And we’re hoping this is the case; some artists have been announcing re-scheduled tour dates for the latter half of 2021, and festivals are starting to roll out details for their highly anticipated lineups.

One of these festivals is Sacramento, CA’s Aftershock Festival, and just one look at their newly announced lineup makes us hope that we can get back to normal soon. The rock festival is slated to take place from Thursday, October 7th to Sunday, October 10th, 2021.

Along with the previously announced headliners (Metallica on Friday and Sunday, and My Chemical Romance), the festival’s 2021 lineup will feature the likes of Rancid, Killswitch Engage, Volbeat, Seether, The Offspring, Machine Gun Kelly, Gojira, Social Distortion, Rise Against, Mastodon, Pennywise, Black Veil Brides, Anthrax, and so many more.

As a special treat, the festival has added a fourth night, which will be headlined by Limp Bizkit, and a metal-fueled lineup featured by Parkway Drive, Testament, Hatebreed, Exodus, Knocked Loose, and Fit For A King. The fourth night will take place on Thursday, October 7th.
