Pop-punk icons New Found Glory are back again and gearing up to release their third ever cover EP, From The Screen To Your Stereo, Pt. 3. With seven tracks on the upcoming EP, they’re taking their time and revealing the songs one by one before its initial release on May 3rd via Hopeless Records. Recently, the band unveiled the music video behind their cover of “This Is Me”, from the epic motion picture The Greatest Showman.
In an interview with Variety, guitarist Chad Gilbert stated the following surrounding the band’s decision to cover “This Is Me” for the release:
“What’s really cool about ‘This is Me’ is that our friends loved the song. Older punk rock fans don’t know ‘The Greatest Showman,’ haven’t seen the movie. And they hear that song and they’re like, ‘This just sounds like an awesome New Found Glory song. This is a really good song.”
