Australian post-hardcore act The Amity Affliction have unveiled the second part of their three-part short film/music video series, entitled "Misery". The title comes from the band's upcoming album of the same name, slated to be released on August 24th via Roadrunner Records.

The Amity Affliction is comprised of vocalist Joel Birch, bassist/vocalist Ahren Stringer, and guitarist Dan Brown.

The second part picks up right where Part One, "Ivy (Doomsday)", and things only get darker. The film was written by the band's vocalist, Joel Birch, while the video was co-directed by Birch and director Ryan Mackfall.

Misery was recorded earlier this year in Baltimore, MD with producer Matt Squire (whose credits include Panic! At The Disco, Underoath, and Ariana Grande), and is the band's sixth studio album. It is the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed fifth studio album, This Could Be Heartbreak (released in 2016 via Roadrunner Records), which charted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart (their third consecutive time topping the chart), and entered the Top 30 in the Billboard 200/U.S. SoundScan.
