If you were to make your way into some kind of rock n' roll dive bar on a Saturday night, somewhere deep in the middle of a downtown Metropolis, this is more than likely the sound you'd hear emanating from the band somewhere in the bar. And I don't say that in a bad way; I loved the vibe of this EP. Step Sisters have created an EP that invokes the true essence of rock n' roll: it's grunge-y at times, it' psychedelic at times, and there's even hints of blues-rock throughout. But you know for a fact that it's rock n' roll, after just one listen. It's not perfect, but it's also the Nashville quartet's first release. I'm very curious to see what comes from these guys in the future, and I'll be keeping my eye on them as their career progresses. If you're a fan of rock music, I suggest you do the same.
